Virtual Poetry Slam
I want to use this opportunity to jump out of my comfort zone. With the mandate of Social distancing and the many people who are feeling lonely. I think this time is better than any to test my theory. Poetry has done so much for me emotionally throughout my life. I truly believe Poetry immersion will be a great coping mechanism for yourself, a tool to make homeschooling fun and a way to help anyone express how they are feeling through uncertain times. My first fundraiser has been cancelled. Or should I say, postponed. Maybe when the weather gets better in April (National Poetry Month). Next month I may not be able to get everyone physically together for World Poetry Day; 3/21/2021. Instead I want to invite you to enter a slam session with me. I plan to keep this site fresh, encouraging and without judgement. (Find us on Facebook: P.E.P. Talks) I want to hear from you! This site was intended for the impoverished community to be heard. A place to journal their journey to mental clarity, emotional stability and financial security. However, during this pandimic most of us feel lost, confused and overwhelmed. Allow Poetry to unclutter your mind space and help you through the quarantine!
